stage instructions

All who step into the ranks of the Scarlet Troupe, whether by choice or by fate, are bound to obey the stage and the master who commands it. Every act, every movement, every instruction must be followed with precision, for the Troupe tolerates neither hesitation nor disobedience. To stray from the carefully orchestrated performance invites punishment, and in some cases, death. Those who fail to honor the code risk becoming part of the spectacle in ways they never intended. The eyes of the Master see all.
  1. Obey the Master: Every command of the Master must be executed without hesitation, without question, and without fail. Defiance is not only folly - it is death. Their word is law, their judgment final.

  2. The Blood Oath: All members who wish to remain within the Troupe, whether by choice or by the Master's decree, must take the blood oath. Once marked, your loyalty is eternal, binding you to the Master and the Troupe for life. Refusal is not tolerated, and the consequences are absolute.

  3. If the Master is absent, obey the Overseer: When the Master's gaze is elsewhere, the Overseer speaks for them.

  4. Honor the Blood Oath: Once marked by blood, your loyalty is eternal. Betrayal, hesitation, or neglect of this bond will be met with swift and merciless retribution.

  5. Serve the Troupe above all: The Troupe is life and death. Protect its members, its secrets, and its future. Your own needs are insignificant in comparison.

  6. Fulfill your role: Each member has a purpose - Reaper, Guardian, Healer, Bloodsworn, or otherwise. You are expected to perform your duties flawlessly, or suffer the consequences.

  7. Show no weakness: Cowardice, hesitation, or failure will not be tolerated. The Troupe demands strength; the Master demands obedience.

  8. Respect the hierarchy: Rank exists for a reason. Questioning or defying those above you invites punishment.

  9. Protect the young: Offspring are the Troupe's future. If deemed worthy, older members must guard them, train them, and ensure they survive to carry the blood onward.

  10. Loyalty above all: Personal desires, rivalries, and attachments are meaningless. Devotion to the Master and the Troupe is absolute and eternal.
